Join us for a multi-cultural celebration of dance at our 3rd annual World Rhythms show on Nov. 8, 2025!

Featuring Philly Dance Fitness student groups performing routines in Bollywood, Belly Dance, French Cabaret and Latin — plus solos from some of our amazing instructors and other special guests! This is a family-friendly show and audience members of all ages are welcome.

Plays & Players is located between 17th and 18th Streets in the Rittenhouse neighborhood of Philadelphia.

PHonk! Philly builds community and empowers Philadelphians through the lively traditions of African diasporic carnival culture. Inspired by the rhythms, dances, and festive street parades of Brazil, the Caribbean, and New Orleans, they create inclusive spaces for joy, resilience, and cultural preservation. Their dynamic performances featuring drumming, dance, and colorful costumes invite people of all ages to connect, learn, and rise together. We believe that music in the streets helps to reclaim and redefine the use of public spaces.

State Street Dancers is Philadelphia area’s only source for FatChanceBellyDance(R) Style instruction. Formerly known as American Tribal Style, it is movement that harkens back to another place and time and is a blend of traditional folkloric movements from around the world. Movements emphasize the natural bounce and sway of the hips which many find a release from the stress of everyday life, emphasizes proper posture which has health benefits, and builds community.

Karat is one of the first kpop cover dance teams that has been active in the Philly area. It has been inspiring to see the kpop community grow the past couple of years and dance alongside other talented teams!
