Update to post below:
Thanks to all who came out for the events this past week! Here are some videos from the fundraiser on 10/30.
Two events this month in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month:
Party in Pink Zumba on Wednesday, Oct. 27th
Come in pink for our regular Wednesday night Zumba class. I’ll be giving out two hot pink bracelets (similar to the Zumba bands that some of you won over the summer). This time around, you’ll be eligible to win a bracelet if you’ve attended at least 4 Philly Dance Fitness classes in October. Also, please feel to bring any related health info or resources you would like share and I’ll put it out on the front table.
Details: 6:45 p.m. Marian Anderson Center, 744 S. 17th Street.
Party in Pink Zumbathon and Clothing Swap on Saturday, Oct.30
Dance with Philly’s top Zumba teachers, snag an outfit and support cancer research all at once! I’ll be joining at least five other teachers from Philly to lead the Zumba portion of this event. And, as a special Halloween treat, I’ll be teaching a modified version of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” In addition to food and dancing, there’s an opportunity to trade in your gently used clothes for something “new.” All proceeds from the $15 admission go toward the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

When: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 30 (Zumba goes from 2 to 3:30 p.m.)
