POUND Fitness *NEW program*
Unleash your rock-band dreams in this fusion of dancing and drumming. This full-body cardio jam session combines light resistance with constant simulated drumming. Expect a mix of cardio, Pilates, isometric poses and plyometrics. Strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles and POUND off pounds while rocking out to great music.

Bollywood Blast
Our Sunday section of this high energy Indian dance fitness class returns in mid-January. If Hindi music makes you want to move or you’ve daydreamed of dancing in a huge Bollywood number, this is the class for you. Expect a mix of traditional North Indian folk dance, hip-hop, Bollywood flavor and relentlessly upbeat music, all fused together in one seriously fun, nonstop workout.

Bollywood Tech *NEW program*
For dancers seeking to dive deeper into the artistry of Bollywood dance, we’re offering a new 40-minute small group technique class. In addition to breaking down authentic Indian dance movements, you’ll build progressive choreography that would fit right in at a Bollywood performance. Class will be capped at eight students to ensure individual attention. Guarantee your spot (and save off the drop-in price!) by pre-registering for the month series.

Cardio Pop
If you love dancing to pop music, you’ll have even more opportunities to get your groove going at our popular Cardio Pop classes. In addition to a daytime section (which now moves to Monday lunchtime) and Thursday evenings, we’re adding a Friday class at Midtown so you can punctuate your work week with a little dance party. With the latest upbeat songs to keep you going, maybe you won’t even notice how hard you’re working. Some routines are pure cardio, others focus on strengthening and sculpting. Either way, you’re guaranteed to feel the burn.

Dance Party Boot Camp
Amp up your workout with this high intensity interval training (HIIT) dance program. We’ve already got Dance Party Boot Camp on our schedule on Sunday mornings and Tuesday nights, but now we’re adding two more sections to really kick your New Year’s fitness resolutions into gear.
- Sundays at noon with Timaree
- This is a repeat of the 11 a.m. class. We ask that students only attend one section to allow room for everyone.

Power Stretch & Sculpt
We took a short winter break, but our unique stretch program is back and so is instructor Kathy! Elongate and strengthen your entire body with this invigorating combination of yoga, dance, strength training, Pilates and sometimes even a little Tai Chi. After warming up, you’ll flow through low-impact, body weight movements to build strength, flexibility and balance.

Time Changes
A few of our existing classes will be shifting times, locations and/or days of the week to accommodate both our students’ and instructors’ schedules. Again, this is a lot of information and we know it can be confusing, so feel free to skip over to the schedule page for the complete, up-to-date list of classes. (Refer to the calendar grid at the bottom of that page — or the side of the homepage — for additional notes about substitutes or any cancelations due to special events or weather emergencies.) Meanwhile, here’s the run-down of what’s changed:
- Mondays at 12 p.m. — Cardio Pop (Rittenhouse)
- Moved from a prior midweek slot
- Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. — Barre Fit Pilates (Rittenhouse)
- Was previously at lunchtime, same day and place
- Tuesdays at 8 p.m. — Hip-Hop (Rittenhouse)
- This replaces Cardio Pop, which was previously held in this time slot
- Wednesdays at 7 p.m. — African Dance Revolution (Rittenhouse)
- Moves up from a later slot and shifts locations to Rittenhouse instead of Midtown
- Thursdays at Midtown
- Tap Tonic and Cardio Pop both begin 15 minutes later due to the new 5:30 p.m. Jazz Cardio class
- Fridays at 6:30 p.m. — Beginner II Ballet (Midtown)
- Shifts 15 minutes later due to the new Cardio Pop class
- Saturdays at 11 a.m. – Zumba (South Philly)
- Due to the return of Stretch, Zumba reverts to its former 11 a.m. slot
On top of all these additions and changes, more than 30 classes continue on from 2015, from Zumba to Hip-Hop to Tap Tonic and more. Our small-group Pointe and Tap Technique classes also remain on the schedule, please pre-register for the month if you know you plan to attend to guarantee your spot and save off the drop-in price.
