12 Oct New Daytime Classes
October 12, 2023
Even though the days are getting shorter, you don’t need to worry about darkness keeping you from the studio because we’re adding a whole slate of daytime options this fall!
Start your week with a dose of Cardio Pop on Mondays at 8:30 am, or squeeze in a 7 am dance party on Tuesdays before heading off to work. Or head over at lunchtime for Latin Fusion on Thursdays or Dance Party Boot Camp on Fridays. No prior dance experience required for any of these classes. We’re especially excited about the new Latin Fusion class, which will include medium to low intensity cardio routines set to salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton and more. It’s sort of like Zumba, except every song has “sabor latino” and there might even be a little partner work!
Since we don’t have an existing crew of weekday daytime dancers, we’re experimenting with different times and class types to see what works. Please help us gauge interest by registering in advance on our online schedule rather than planning to drop in at the last minute. If we don’t have at least three students pre-registered (by the night before for early morning classes, or by 10 am for lunchtime slots), we’ll cancel on a case-by-case basis. If that happens, we’ll be sure to notify anyone who is signed up so they can switch to a different class or try again the following week. Hopefully this won’t happen too often, but we know it’ll take some time to build up a daytime crew.
That said, if you know anyone who’s looking to dance and sweat during these times, please help us spread the word! Note that we have tons of lockers and FOUR squeaky clean showers at our Rittenhouse studio — you can easily pop over during a work day, shower and change after class, and head right back to the office!
