Time to bust out your Zombie walk! Join us on Halloween for a $5 spooktacular all-levels hip-hop class where you’ll learn a “thrilling” monster-themed routine and then show it off to trick-or-treaters passing by!
Class will begin with a few easy-to-follow cardio routines so you can get a little workout in. Then, instructor Ricky “Glytch” Evans will break down the moves to a short combination so that everyone can master them.
By the end of the hour, you’ll be all set to show up the “living dead,” so we’ll travel a few blocks to some of the busiest trick-or-treating streets to perform the routine a couple of times. Costumes — especially of the zombie classification — strongly encouraged, just make sure you can dance in them!
Thanks to a grant from the City of Philadelphia Activities fund via Councilman Bobby Henon’s office, the cost to participate in this event is only $5! That’s less than you would spend to buy a bag of candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters, and you’ll still be bringing joy to dozens of kids.
Since this is a subsidized event, space may fill up quickly so pre-register early to reserve your spot! Since we may not have room for everyone who wants to participate, if your plans change for any reason, we respectfully ask that you early-cancel your reservation so that another student may use that spot. Thank you!
- 5 p.m. – 6 pm. Class at our Rittenhouse studio (1624 South St)
- 6:10 p.m. – 7 p.m. Perform the routine a couple of times around Delancey & Croskey Streets
