Dance Day Is Almost Here!

July 2026

Mark your calendars! The annual Philadelphia Dance Day celebration is coming up on July 25, featuring more than a dozen FREE workshops and a $10 evening showcase. Seriously, this is one of the best events in Philly in the summer — the shore can wait for another weekend!

This amazing nonprofit community event has brought hundreds of people out to dance in past years, and we’re so pumped for the 17th annual celebration!

Join as many workshops as you like! No need to pre-register, just show up ready to dance. Daytime workshops are free and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. They will be held  at the Philly Dance Fitness studio in Rittenhouse (1923 Chestnut St., Floor 2). Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled in. *Schedule is subject to change, please refer to the official Dance Day website for the most up-to-date information*

Following the workshop lineup, the festival concludes with a capstone evening showcase at Plays & Players Theater on Delancey Street. Tickets to the show are $10, which includes post-performance refreshments.  Save time at the door by making your ticket donation in advance here.

Even if you can’t make the event, please help us spread the word by inviting your friends! Here’s a Facebook invite for Dance Day

Philadelphia Dance Day is a volunteer-driven nonprofit event held every year on the last Saturday in July. The goal: To unite the community in celebrating dance as a powerful platform for creative expression and physical activity. This collaborative event would not be possible without the support of dozens of partner organizations, sponsors, volunteers and donors. If you’d like to get involved, too, please contact us to volunteer. See you on July 25!
