Expiration & Class Cancelation Policy Updates

Hi dancers! Please note that starting Nov. 15, some of our class cancelation and expiration date policies will be changing:

Expiration Dates

Expiration dates will change to two months for Drop-in Passes and Class Cards. Drop-in Passes will be valid for two months from the date of purchase. Class Cards must be redeemed within two months of purchase, and then you have two months from the date of the first scheduled class to use up the package.

The expiration dates will be clearly listed whenever you purchase a service through our Mindbody portal and you can also double check the dates anytime by logging into your profile. If you have a Class Card, you can also get email reminders when your package is getting close to the expiration date to make sure you don’t miss out on any dancing! Just be sure to check the box for “email alerts” in your Mindbody profile or you will not receive these reminders.

Drop-in passes and class cards purchased prior to Nov. 15, 2019 will maintain the prior expiration window (three months).

Class Reservation Cancelations

Also effective Nov. 15, the “early cancelation” window for class reservations will change to 4 hours. In other words, if you need to cancel your class reservation, you must do at least 4 hours before the start of your scheduled class to be able to use that class at another time. If you cancel with less than 4 hours before the start of class, you will lose the class. Those using Unlimited Passes and Memberships will still be allowed 2 “late cancel”/no show classes per calendar month, and will automatically be charged a $10 fee per late cancel/no show class after that (tallied at the end of each month).

We’re instituting this change because our prior window was so short that it didn’t give enough notice for students on the waiting lists of capacity classes nor for us to determine if a smaller class would need to be canceled due to low registration. Since we often experiment with new programs, we rely on pre-registration to know if we have enough students to cover our operating costs. So even though there may be space for walk-ins at many classes, we urge you to continue registering online if you plan to attend class.

Based on our research, this 4-hour window remains among the most lenient cancelation policies at local fitness studios and will hopefully still provide plenty of flexibility to account for unpredictable schedule changes. That said, we also understand that life happens and unexpected emergencies can derail the best laid plans. If something comes up, please call or email us before your class.
