Mark your calendars! The seventh annual Philadelphia Dance Day is coming up on July 30, featuring more than 25 FREE workshops at studios all around the city and a huge $5 evening event with more instructional sessions, a performance showcase and social dancing. Seriously, this is one of the best events in Philly in the summer — the shore can wait for another weekend!
What could be better than a massive, citywide summer dancestravaganza? Another free dance party, of course! To highlight the upcoming Dance Day, we’re heading to Eakins Oval for a free family-friendly preview on Sunday, July 17. The hour-long program starts at noon and will include line dancing, Zumba, Bollywood, hip-hop, Power Stretch and more!
And, there’s more! Two days after dancing at the OVAL, the Independence Business Alliance’s Women in Business Committee will be hosting a fundraising happy hour in support of Dance Day! Join us at Stir Lounge in Rittenhouse Square on Tuesday, July 19 for drink specials and great company, all while helping raise awareness of this awesome community event! Find all the details here or in this Facebook event post.
