Bring your buns to this barre master class, complete with a little pre-brunch bubbly to reward your hard work!
Improve your posture, balance, strength, flexibility and coordination as you push your muscles to the max in this dynamic workshop. We’re combining ballet technique, Pilates, yoga, core conditioning and isometric strength training into one intense, total body workout. You’ll dig deep into your stabilizing muscles to keep your balance as you isolate, squeeze, lift and pulse through a series of exercises. While the movements will be mostly low impact, you’ll also get some cardio in as you flow from one exercise right to the next.
You might recognize some of the footwork from ballet, but the music will be anything but Swan Lake! And absolutely no prior ballet or dance experience required. Whether you’re new to barre or a Barre Fit/BalletEXTREME regular, instructors Lee-Ann Doncevic and Beverly Holskin will make sure you leave feeling the good kind of sore!
Consider this a perfect way to bring out your inner ballerina at a Sunday “brunch.” To celebrate all the hard-earned sweat, we’ll top off the morning with mimosas and mingling. In addition to champagne, we’ll have non-alcoholic bubbly for younger participants or those who prefer not to drink so that everyone can finish the class sparkling!
