If you love any or all of the above, don’t miss our November “Take It Off Broadway” show!
We’ve once again teamed up with renowned burlesque producer HoneyTree EvilEye (who also happens to be one of our long-standing and amazing instructors!) to present this Broadway-themed collaboration featuring jazz, drag, tons of dancing, live singing and more.
The November 15th show, taking place at the Ruba Club in Northern Liberties, includes exciting choreographed group dance numbers by Philly Dance Fitness students along with original pieces created by local burlesque and drag stars. The group and solo routines draw inspiration from a wide range of musicals: School of Rock, Chicago, Hadestown, An American in Paris, Rent, Moulin Rouge and more.
The professional cast includes award-winning drag queen Iris Spectre, a sing-and-strip by professionally trained opera singer and burlesque performer Isa Ardiente, an exciting take on ancient Greek myth by Penelope Heartbreak, and, of course, producers Fiona Firebomb and HoneyTree EvilEye.
