April Schedules

April Schedules

Someday, spring weather will arrive. In the meantime, we’ll keep on dancing like we always do! Tap is in the spotlight this month with a super awesome Beyonce-themed Tap Tonic workshop, a new absolute beginner bootcamp for tap newcomers and a tap technique discount deal. But we also have two other additions to the weekly class schedule. Read on for the scoop.

More Hip-Hop and Zumba

We know how much our cardio junkies love Zumba and Hip-Hop, so we’re giving you more with two fantastic new instructors!

First up, we’re experimenting with a 5:30 p.m. Zumba class on Wednesdays at Midtown. We know this time will be too early for some of you, but we’ve also had some requests for earlier options so we’re giving it a shot. If you’d like to see an earlier class stay on our schedule, please come and support it!

  • Zumba on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. with Sydney
  • Midtown, 1301 Locust St., 2nd Floor

Next, we’re trying out a Saturday afternoon hip-hop class because why not? If you can’t bear the thought of disrupting your plans to sleep-in on the weekend, grab your brunch first and then wake up with this fast-paced, high impact hip-hop jam.

  • Hip-Hop on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. with Trina
  • Rittenhouse, 1624 South St.

Instructor Notes

The last few weeks have been bittersweet for us as we’ve had to say goodbye to three of our instructors. In addition to Lael, Alyssa and Besiana will no longer be teaching for us as they move out of the city. On the bright side, we are lucky to have found several new instructors who will be sharing their talents with us! Here’s what’s changed:

Mondays — Deb will continue rocking out Power Jam Stretch Express and Dance Party Boot Camp in Midtown. New Zumba instructor Kyle will take over her South Philly Zumba class for the month.

Tuesdays — Lehla will take over the Zumba class in Midtown and Trina will bring some California heat to the Cardio Pop class in Rittenhouse.

Reduced Schedule Easter/Passover Weekend

We’ll have a few class reductions this weekend due to the religious holidays that many of our instructors and students will be celebrating.

  • Friday, April 3 (Good Friday/first Passover seder) — NO striptease; Zumba and Ballet II as usual
  • Saturday, April 4 — NO Power Jam Stretch; Zumba and Ballet as usual plus the launch of our new Hip-Hop class.
  • Sunday, April 5 (Easter) — NO BalletEXTREME or Pilates; Dance Party Boot Camp as usual.

We don’t anticipate any other schedule reductions this month for holidays, special events or bad weather. Should that change, we would notify you in our e-newsletter or social media.

As always, you can find the full list of classes on our schedule page and any sub notes listed in the calendar view. While we’ve highlighted what’s changed in this post, don’t forget to check out all of our exisiting programs, too, from African Jazz to Bollywood Blast to Pilates and more. We’re also continuing the newer programs that we added in Midtown over the past two months, including Zumba on Tuesday nights, our longer Tap Technique on Thursdays and Power Jam Stretch Express on Mondays.
