April Additions

We know you like Zumba, and we know you like hip-hop, so we’re bringing you more of both this spring. Here’s what’s new:

House Party Fitness

You know the type of party where the music is pumpin’, the bass is pounding, and you don’t want the party to end? That’s what this class feels like. Dance along to the hottest urban hip-hop (old and new school), ragga, house, top-40, R&B, electronic and reggaeton. In addition to cardio conditioning, this hip-hop fitness program strengthens major muscle groups by incorporating resistance training of the arms, lower body and core.

  • When: Mondays at 6:15 p.m.
  • Where: The Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine St.
  • Taught by House Party Fitness creator Brooke Blair

Zumba Sentao

Grab a chair and get into the zone with the perfect balance of red-hot cardio and total body toning. By transforming a chair into a sizzling dance partner, the explosive Zumba Sentao™ program torches calories and sculpts muscle at the same time. Revolutionize your cardio workout with targeted resistance training set to exotic world rhythms that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

  • When: Thursdays at 7 p.m.
  • Where: The Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine St.
  • Taught by Lehla Olson, a licensed Zumba instructor and Zumba Jammer

Frisky Fridays Striptease Aerobics

We’ve had striptease aerobics on the schedule for a long time, but we’re giving you more opportunities to get down and dirty in April. Instead of only once or twice a month, we’ll get frisky EVERY Friday. Warm-up with isolations and follow-the-leader routines, then piece together a series of sexy moves to build a hotter-than-hot combination. Classes also include fitness intervals designed to stretch and strengthen your entire body. Ladies only, ages 18 and up.

  • When: EVERY Friday at 7 p.m.
  • Where: Major Moment, 1624 South St.
  • Taught alternating weeks by burlesque performer Timaree Schmit and Urban Striptease instructor Deborah Hirsch

All of the above classes are $10 drop in, one punch on a class card or FREE for members.
